Welcome to my homepage at the University of Illinois. Here you can find information about me and the research I performed as a postdoctoral research associate in the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology. I was a member of the Optical Science Group of Prof. P. Scott Carney and the Chemical Imaging and Structures Laboratory of Prof. Rohit Bhargava.
The majority of my Illinois research lies in the intersection of two or more of the following fields.
- Optics
- Imaging and Microscopy
- Spectroscopy
- Signal Processing and Inverse Problems
- Stochastic Processes
While my work was largely theoretical, I was fortunate to work with some talented experimental researchers. These collaborations helped identify new, interesting and important problems, while also facilitating the direct application and verification of my work.
